Biography

Mr. Lipari is a co-founder of Hudson Capital Advisors, a merchant bank focused on debt and equity private placements, mergers and acquisitions, and sourcing principal opportunities. Mr. Lipari started Hudson Capital in 2003 and then subsequently helped a family office oversee their fixed income, private equity and real estate investment platforms. During this time, Mr. Lipari, created, structured and developed (through acquisitions) a $14 Billion CLO Manager (CIFC, Corp.). In 2015, Mr. Lipari re-joined Hudson Capital full time to continue building the firm he co-founded.

Before starting Hudson Capital, Mr. Lipari worked at Trimaran Capital Partners, a $1.0 billion private equity fund where he was primarily focused on Media and Telecommunications investments. Prior to joining Trimaran Capital Partners, Mr. Lipari was an Executive Director in the Leveraged Finance group for CIBC World Markets and worked on a variety of senior bank debt, high yield debt and private/public equity transactions.

While in the Leveraged Finance Group at CIBC, Mr. Lipari spent considerable time working on numerous financings for Global Crossing and was partially responsible for monitoring CIBC’s private equity investment in Global Crossing. Before joining CIBC World Markets, Mr. Lipari worked at Salomon Brothers Inc where he was an associate in their High Yield Group and an analyst in their Merchant Banking Group.

Mr. Lipari has sat on various private and public company boards including CIFC, Corp. and Global Crossing.

Mr. Lipari received his M.B.A. from The Amos Tuck Business School at Dartmouth and his B.A. from Yale University.
